Saud Carrillo didn't start in a boardroom, he started in the field. Born and raised in San Diego, Saud began his construction career as a material delivery driver and general laborer for a local home builder to working his way up to managing large-scale infill developments. Over the years, he has contributed to projects across San Diego County—from Escondido and Rancho Bernardo to Chula Vista, North Park, Point Loma, and everywhere in between—gaining the kind of local knowledge and hands-on experience that can't be taught in a classroom.

He founded Roman Built Development to build something of his own, serve the community that helped shape him, and raise the standard for what clients should expect from a contractor. Too often in the construction industry, projects run over budget, communication breaks down, and the final result falls short of the original vision. Saud built Roman Built around a different approach: quality craftsmanship, transparent communication, and an ownership mentality that treats every project as if it were his own. Whether it's a remodel, new construction project, ADU, or development venture, the goal remains the same: to deliver a finished product that clients can be proud of for years to come.
